Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer support is welcomed in the collections of Performing Arts, Music, Photography, Film, Manuscripts and Archives, Art, French, and in the Center's Reading Room, Conservation Department, and Marketing Department. Volunteer duties may include, but are not limited to, public service, research service, preservation, inventory and rehousing of collection materials, compilation of finding aids, retrieving and reshelving collection materials, collection reorganization and maintenance, and working with the public as a docent, visitor services volunteer, or special events volunteer. Volunteers greatly contribute to the Center's accomplishments and are considered a valuable component of the organization.
Volunteer assignments are based upon the current needs and projects of the Center and on the expertise and interests of the volunteer. When a match is found that mutually benefits the volunteer and the Center, the assignment is offered to the volunteer. Volunteer Application
