The Ransom Center houses items by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, including cartoons for the stained-glass Story of St. George and the Dragon. A small collection of drawings in charcoal, pastel, and colored chalk includes studies for Rossetti's Lady Lilith, La Pia, Mary Magdalene, and Dante's Dream at the Death of Beatrice. Work by Sir Edward Burne-Jones includes two cartoons for stained-glass angels produced by William Morris & Co. for St. Peter’s Church in London.
