Photography collection materials may be viewed in the Harry Ransom Center's Reading and Viewing Rooms. Please note: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to pull any photographic equipment. Some photography collection materials may be restricted due to size, condition, or storage location. No photographic prints or equipment may be viewed on Saturdays.

Researchers from out-of-town are advised to contact the department's curatorial staff ahead of time, as the staff can provide additional information on collections, finding aids, services, and accessibility.

To search for photographic prints and albums in the collection, please use the photography database. To search for photography books at the Ransom Center, use the UT Library Catalog. Use the Advanced Search page and limit the results to the Harry Ransom Center
