Marilyn Palik

Marilyn was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and received a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Tulsa, studying under the direction of Thomas F. Staley. She attended the University of Arkansas and New York University for her doctoral studies. She then lived in New York City for 35 years with her husband, James N. Palik.
For ten years, she was principal with Gamache-Palik, Ltd., a corporation that planned events within the international corporate, legal, and political communities working on four continents.
Marilyn currently lives in Paris, France and is co-editor of Bloom Where You're Planted, a major publication for the expatriate Anglophone community with distribution in excess of 2,500 books annually. In addition to serving on the Harry Ransom Center Advisory Council, she is chairman of the ALORA art museum lecture programs. ALORA is the social division of the OCDE (Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques).
