Randall Lane

Randall is a former Naval Officer and seasoned, well traveled, multi-lingual, global executive with a broad business background. His expertise spans strategic planning, marketing, finance, supplier diversity, operations, public relations, communications, and human resources. Generally recognized as a Global Inclusion & Diversity Thought Leader, Randall's industry experience includes assignments in financial services, telecommunications, gaming, media & entertainment, consulting, and high tech, with such companies as Citicorp, NYNEX, Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), The Mashantucket-Pequot Tribal Nation, Time Warner Inc, American Express, Weyerhaeuser, and now Cisco.
His current role as Senior Leader, Global Inclusion & Diversity at Cisco Systems, Inc., encompasses developing and driving a number of Cisco's key strategic Global Inclusion & Diversity initiatives. These include diversity recruitment strategies, strategic global diversity-related external relationships, internal and external diversity communications, and inclusive advocacy programs designed to advance high potential diverse leaders globally.
Cited as a National Black Achiever by the Harlem YMCA and as one of Minority Business News USA's Best of the Decade in Supplier and Workforce Diversity, he is also the recipient of awards from many other organizations, including the US Department of Commerce, National Hispanic Business Group, Hispanic Business Magazine, The New York/New Jersey Minority Purchasing Council, and the National Minority Business Council.
Currently, he serves on the Boards of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) – Supplier Diversity Business Development Group, the AMAS Musical Theater of New York, The Ice Theatre of New York, and the Harry Ransom Center at The University of Texas in Austin, and advises the Washington State Artist's Trust.
Randall received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Case-Western Reserve University, an MBA from New York University, and pursued additional post-graduate studies in leadership at UCLA. He currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
