Adam Muhlig

Austin, TX

Adam Muhlig was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, worked in the rare book trade since he was a teenager, and was a lieutenant in the Marathon, Texas Fire Department.

Editorial work includes The New York Times best seller, On the Wing by Alan Tennant and Field Guide to the Snakes of Texas by Alan Tennant, Creative Glut: Essays by Karl Shapiro, Madness of Art: Interviews with Writers by Robert Phillips and News About People You Know by Robert Phillips.

Mr. Muhlig has completed appraisal work for former Poet Laureate of the United States, Ted Kooser; longtime Editor of POETRY, Joseph Parisi; Stevie Ray Vaughan archive belonging to Connie Vaughan; The University of California at Los Angeles; The University of Chicago; Syracuse University; The Newberry Library: and The University of Texas at Austin.

Adam is a member of the Caxton Club and Society of American Archivists. He is married with one child.
