Leonard J. Eaton
Len Eaton was a member of Oklahoma State Board of Regents for Higher Education for nine years and served as Chairman in 2001. He has been on the boards of and served as Chairman of River Parks Authority, The Nature Conservancy, Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, University Center of Tulsa and The University of Tulsa. He also served on the board of Hillcrest Medical Center. Len joined the Bank of Oklahoma in 1971 and retired as Chairman and CEO in 1991. At that time he became a consultant to The Nordam Group, serving as director of Corporate Finance and a member of the Executive Management team. Currently, he is the President of World Travel Service, the largest travel management company in Oklahoma.
Eaton is a graduate of Cornell University and received a Doctorate of Human Letters from Meadville Theology School at the University of Chicago.
Len served as Vice President in the Oil and Gas Department of Citibank prior to coming to Tulsa. His wife, Patty, served as Oklahoma's first Secretary of the Environment. She has been elected and served three terms on the Tulsa City Commission. She is also on several civic boards. The Eaton's have three children and five grandchildren.
