Nancy Inman has wide interests in art and photography. She has a degree in the history of art from the University of Maryland. Her past affiliations in the Austin community include: Laguna Gloria Board of Trustees; Austin Symphony Board of Trustees; St. David's Health Care Foundation; Austin Children's Museum Board of Trustees; Settlement Club Board of Trustees; Women's Athletic Council, University of Texas; Steering Committee, Blanton Museum of Art; Seton Long Range Planning Commission; St. Stephen's School Board of Trustees; Chair of the Ex Students Scholarship Committee, University of Texas; Advisory Board, University of Texas Press; KLRU Public Television Board of Trustees; Long Center Board of Trustees.

Mrs. Inman lives in Austin with her husband, Admiral Bobby R. Inman, U.S. Navy (Retired).
