Dr. Paul Roach
Dr. Paul Roach was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and then attended Saint Louis University, receiving a B.A., summa cum laude. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University followed by internship, residency, chief residency, and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He also served as a fellow in medical informatics at New England Medical Center. He has been in practice in Austin, Texas since 1992 and is currently with the Seton Heart Institute.
He served as the President of the Austin Chapter of the American Heart Association, the Chief of Staff of University Medical Center at Brackenridge, and as President of the medical staff of the Seton Family of Hospitals.
Dr. Roach has been married to his wife, Elaine Demetrion, for 24 years. They have two sons, Max and Nicholas.
