Eat, drink, and be merry (Luke 12:19) at this opening reception for the exhibition The King James Bible: Its History and Influence.
Enjoy a royal photo booth, screenings in the theater curated by filmmaker Tommy Swenson, light hors d'oeuvres, seventeenth-century English music performed by musicians from The University of Texas at Austin's Butler School of Music, and more.
Ransom Center members receive complimentary admission and valet parking at this event on Friday, March 2. If you are not yet a member, you may purchase tickets to the opening for $20 (valet parking included).
Guests will be eligible to win a "King for a Day" prize and will learn about the influence of the King James Bible on literature, art, film, and everyday speech.
