The following list of votes for the week ending Feb. 26th, I considered
the most interesting.

For the week ending Feb. 12th Clark Gable received four votes for
the part of Rhett and three against. His total votes for the month
of February, 12 for and 10 against.

Week ending Feb. 26th Fredric March received three (3) votes for the
part of Rhett in preference to Gable. Total for month of Feb. 10
for and 1 against.

There were two votes for Gary Cooper for the part of Rhett the week
of Feb. 26th against Gable. Cooper's total for the month 3 for, and
1 against.

Melvyn Douglas received three votes for the month in favor of him
for the part of Rhett.

Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., received three votes for the part of Rhett
for the month of February.

There were two votes for Cesar Romero for the part of Rhett for Feb.

During the week of Feb. 26th there were five letters recommending
Katharine Hepburn for the part of Scarlett. Her total for month
10 for and 1 against.

Miriam Hopkins received seven votes for the part of Scarlett for
the month.

Joan Crawford received 11 votes for the month. Ten of them were
from a Joan Crawford fan club.

There were four votes against Paulette Goddard for the week ending
Feb. 12th. and none in her favor. Her total for the month is 6
votes for and 15 against. (The feeling seems to be more against
Chaplin than Miss Goddard).

There was one very nice letter in favor of Frances Dee for the part
of Scarlett. She had no other votes for the month, for that part but
she received 3 votes for the part of Melanie.

Janet Gaynor received two votes for the month for the part of Melanie.

Leslie Howard received four votes for the part of Ashley for the month.
Tyrone Power received two.

The votes for Pat Moriarity for the part of Gerald were all sent
in by his friends from Los Angeles and vicinity. He has a total
of 32 votes in all.

The Frank Alban votes (205) for the part of Charles Hamilton,
were all sent in by bankers and employees in banks in the middle
west. His father is the Vice-President of a bank in Oklahoma and
evidently sent letters to all his friends asking them to vote for
his son.

There were one and two votes for various other artists which I
have listed in the second column of the attached report.

For the role of Scarlett the following votes were received.
