This is a mimeograph script for the first London production of Waiting for Godot (Arts Theater, 3 August 1955) that was marked up for the actor playing Vladimir (and incorporating some of the changes in dialogue demanded by the Lord Chamberlain). On the page, Vladimir’s line, “Hmm. It’d give us an erection,” has been deleted.
