The Fleur Cowles Flair Symposium 2000
SUCCESS UPON SUCCESS
The Fleur Cowles Flair Symposium 2000, hosted by the Ransom Center last November 3-4, was a rousing success and will be fondly remembered by all who attended. THE INFINITE LIBRARY, as the symposium was titled, featured over twenty speakers discussing the future of libraries, including Fleur Cowles, William Chace, president of Emory University, author Diane Johnson, British playwright Arnold Wesker, and national correspondent for The Atlantic Monthly, James Fallows, among many others.
