Make It Soon

If you haven't had a chance to see the Ransom Center's comprehensive exhibition Make It New: The Rise of Modernism, your time is running out.

The exhibition, which ends its run on March 7, 2004, has been described in the Austin American-Statesman as being "a second rendering" of Modernism "threaded together [by] dozens of sometimes paradoxical themes to create a unified whole." Featuring a stunning array of more than 400 objects from the dominant cultural movement of the 20th century, Make It New: The Rise of Modernism allows viewers to better shape their understanding of Modernism through interaction with a portion of the Ransom Center's extensive collections.
