The Next Chapter: A Vision For the 21st Century
The Ransom Center is in the midst of a fundraising campaign, titled "The Next Chapter: A Vision For the 21st Century." The campaign aims to bolster existing strengths of the Center, from acquiring noteworthy collections to enhancing curatorial excellence. Some highlights to date include:
- Meeting a challenge gift from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, generously endowing our research fellowship program
- Bringing the Norman Mailer collection to Austin
- Naming the Art Gallery in honor of Albert and Ethel Herzstein
Gifts from a range of members, foundations, and friends helped make these enhancements possible. With one year to go in the campaign, we are making strong progress toward accomplishing our goals in support of facilities, collections, and public access.
With $9,332,792 raised as of April 30, 2006, we have reached more than 85 percent of our goal of $10,875,000. We invite you to join us in support of our mission by making a gift or becoming a member today. To request more information, please call 512-232-3668 or email david.dibble@mail.utexas.edu.
