Most of these documents are downloadable as Adobe Acrobat (pdf) files. You may download free copies of the Adobe Acrobat Reader here. Forms can be either filled out interactively using Acrobat and printed out (they cannot be saved to your computer and sent as attachments) or printed blank and filled out by hand.To mail or fax forms to the appropriate department, please contact Ransom Center curatorial staff.
Information Regarding Proxy Researchers: A patron may hire a researcher to work with Ransom Center materials on his/her behalf if a visit to the Center is not possible. The Center maintains a list (available on request) of such researchers.
Locating US Copyright Holders: Provides basic information about US copyright law and lists steps researchers can take to identify copyright holders.
Locating UK Copyright Holders: Provides basic information about UK copyright law and lists steps researchers can take to identify copyright holders.
Photoduplication Fees: Lists fees the Ransom Center charges for the reproduction of materials in paper, photographic and digital form. Note that we do not photocopy originals; instead we make digital scans and furnish PDF files (72 dpi, see sample) either by email or on CD-ROM. For patrons who are unable to make use of PDFs, printouts will be available in lieu of digital files.

If you intend to use Ransom Center materials in a publication, performance or broadcast, please complete and submit the appropriate "Notification of Intent" form. The Center may assess a fee for the use of materials from its collections:
