Norman Bel Geddes's Library

The Ransom Center holds Norman Bel Geddes's personal library of more than 2,000 volumes including published playtexts, sources of technical data, and monographs on design, economics, history, and art. Many of the books are presentation copies inscribed by the author, and some contain Geddes's marginal annotatations. Geddes's collection of nearly 100 books on warfare is cataloged separately as the Bel Geddes World War Collection.

To locate books from Geddes' personal library, go to the UT Library Catalog and enter "Bel Geddes Library" or "Bel Geddes World War Collection" on the Former Owner, Printer/Press, Binder screen.
