Collectors’ Circle

The Collectors’ Circle is a $25,000 annual giving circle whose members are committed to maintaining the strength of the Ransom Center’s acquisitions program. As a living archive, the Center continues to collect the papers of culturally important figures and to add to the archives of creators whose papers are already housed here.

Collectors’ Circle funds enable the Center’s Director to act quickly when acquisition opportunities arise in a time-sensitive manner, as they often do, and to be competitive in vying for original cultural materials that enhance, complement, or diversify established holdings that make the Center one of the premier institutions in the world for humanities research and learning.

Members of the Collectors’ Circle receive personalized updates from the Ranson Center Director about the Center’s acquisitions priorities and opportunities. As selective invitation-only stakeholder group, Collectors’ Circle members are included in invitations to some of the Center’s most special and exclusive experiences with creators, curators, and the collections.

Collectors’ Circle members make their contributions in the first quarter of the University’s fiscal year (September 1 – November 30) and can decide to renew their commitment on an annual basis.
