Director’s Circle members are important stakeholders who share the Ransom Center’s cultural, educational and conservation goals.
Preserving Culture
Combining chemistry, material science, art history, and conservation theory, the Center's conservators address problems common to books, archives, artwork, and photographs. Director’s Circle members help support and sustain the Center’s commitment to exceptional collection care.
Cultivating Knowledge
Launched with the help of support from Director’s Circle members, the Center’s fellowship program hosts visiting fellows from around the world to delve into the Center’s vast holdings and broaden our understanding of the humanities. Thousands of UT students engage in primary research through our robust instructional program.
Engaging Community
A full calendar of free exhibitions and programs bring the collections to life for tens of thousands of visitors each year. Director’s Circle members enjoy front-row seats at lectures, readings, symposia, and other programs with prominent authors, artists, and scholars, and exclusive access to creators and curators.
