18 June 1972Woodward's notes from a telephone interview with Nixon's Midwest campaign finance chairman Kenneth Dahlberg discussing why a $25,000 cashier's check from Dahlberg was found in the bank account of one of the Watergate burglars. The information was used in Bernstein and Woodward's August 1, 1974 Washington Post story about the check.
