A jewel encrusted gold crown.

"[The Cap (Crown) of Tzar Mikhail Feodorovich was originally intended as a model. Made by Kremlin jewelers, under Yefim Telepnyov, in 1627, it weighs] five pounds--five pounds of gold, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, pearls and sable . . . The tip of the [matching] septre is at the left of Mikhail's Cap." The Kremlin, p. 164.
